Sumter County and the Sumter County Tourism Development Council hosted the first annual ‘General Sumter’s Last Stand – Big Fish Bass Tournament’ at Lake Panasoffkee Saturday, April 5th. The tournament promoted Sumter County tourism and drew visitors and locals alike. Lake County Soccer Club is offering a 3v3 Summer Friday Night Soccer League at Hickory Point Recreational Facility. The small sided games offer a lot of quick action, good skill practice with plenty of touches on the soccer ball and helps develop player’s tactical awareness and skills.
